For many Festival goers, the RiverRoots Jam Tent is the highlight of the event. After all, free form playing is one of the foundations of folk and roots music. Not only are there plenty of open jams for the general public to bring their instrument and sit in, but many of the festival bands are gracious enough to share their talents and insights in this intimate and personal setting. This year Joe Crookston, Willie Watson and the Haunted Windchimes will be jamming, plus the ever popular Darrell House, Slam poet Ian French and many more.
