Bring your Pop-Up Shelter!

SOMETHING BRAND NEW AT RIVER ROOTS THIS YEAR! We are offering space at the back of the venue to put your pop-up shelter. This will be behind the big Balcony Row tents, so visibility to the stage will probably be limited. Think of it more as a home base to relax between acts, or a place to gather out of the weather.

Cost is $20 (in addition to your wristbands) and we are limiting it to 50 pop-ups. (Bring your own pop-up, and please no larger than 10 x 10 size. Please no camping tents, and no overnight in the venue.) Click here to buy your Pop-Up Pass.

Festival Rules

Here are a few things to keep in mind while planning to attend this weekends RiverRoots Music & Folk Art Festival

  • PLEASE BRING YOUR WATER BOTTLE! We will have free refills of cool, clear, pure drinking water.
  • At our festival, you CAN bring your own guitar, kazoo, washboards, mandolin, banjo, - whatever you play (acoustically), and jam with the Folk Jammers at the 2nd Stage
  • You CANNOT BYOB. We have an APP for that … It’s called the BEER TENT.
  • You CAN bring lawn chairs, blankets, mats, pillows
  • You CANNOT bring, Food, Coolers, Umbrellas, or Pets
  • You CANNOT bring Recording Equipment
  • You SHOULD BRING your dancing shoes, good attitudes, friends, family, neighbors, music appreciation, appetite, curiosity, thirst, and extra money for assorted goodies along the way
  • Please do not bring umbrellas. The weather’s going to be perfect and they obscure folks’ view of the stage. Wear a good sunhat and sunscreen!

The Merchandise Tent (Stage Right while looking at the stage) will have CD’s from our performers, T-Shirts, Embroidered Hats, Sunscreen, Poncho’s (although the weather is forecast for perfection). If you run short on cash, an ATM will be onsite for your convenience. Bicentennial Park is also WiFi accessible. A First Aid Station will also be onsite.

Win a Custom Handmade Guitar!

Every year at the festival we have a raffle for a very special guitar made by local master luthier O.C. Bear. Click on the poster below for complete details, and then buy your raffle ticket at the event!!
