MADISON RIVER JAM LOOKING AHEAD TO 2021
Dear loyal RiverRoots Fans,
You have been anxiously awaiting information about this event. As some of you may have heard this event is bring rebranded and renamed Madison River Jam. Although this is considered a new event, we are hopeful to honor the RiverRoots vibe, and continue to celebrate jammin’ on the Riverfront. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and government guidelines on public gatherings and crowds, Madison River Jam will have to wait until June 2021. We are very much looking forward to continuing this event, held the second weekend in June!
Visit Madison Event Coordinator Katie Burress stated, “It is very unfortunate that we have had to make the decision to cancel Madison River Jam for the 2020 event season. We were well into the planning and rebranding of this event and were prepared to announce our lineup and launch ticket sales early next week.” Katie also added “Although it is disappointing, we feel that it is what’s best for our community at this time. I am thankful for the many people who played a role in the planning of Madison River Jam, the artists who had committed to perform at this year’s event, as well as the community members who have supported us throughout this transition. The Visit Madison team is looking forward to hosting an event to bring the community together when event restrictions are lifted and are hopeful that the local and regional performers who were slotted to perform at Madison River Jam will be able to join us at this community event.”

FOLK JAMMERS TENT
Stop by the Jam Tent! The Folk Village Jam Tent is considered “home base” for those who want to take a step beyond being an audience member and become an active participant in the Festival. The tent is the center for music workshops and jams that have included popular main stage performers. There is a busy schedule of interactive fun again this year. John Sheckler and the Folk Jammers will once again lead the wild musical jams, but many workshops will be posted so fans can see their favorite performers in a more intimate setting.
